Area of Tennessee

The area formula for a square, rectangle,and parallelogram is the same because each figures dimensions and measurements are Able to form differently and make sure that the length times the width stay the same. The rough estimate of Tennessee's area is 430 miles east to west and 110 miles north to south. When you multiply these two measurements it shows that the area is 47,300 Square miles. I got the actual area of Tennessee to be 42,144. This is only a difference of 5,156 square miles which is not very far off.

What I've learned from Chapter 10

     In chapter 10 i learned about the cicumfrence, diameter, and radius of a circle.
I learned about all the different types of arcs and chords.
I also learned what an inscribed angle is and how to recognize tangents and secants to help measure an angle. 
     I still dont know how to find the missing arc measurement.....
     One career that could use these skills is an airplane piolt. They would need to know the circumfrence of a tornado or a storm that they might encounter while in flight or also how to perfectly land on the runway.
